After upgrading the OSX to 10.11.4, the applictation only displays the pop up when trying to decompress a rar file.

I love this app for about 3 years now! It’s totally great!

First thing I download on a fresh install. Shame on Mac for not supporting some of these formats by default

Needed something to decompress a .xz file and found this. SUPER fast extractions and easier to use than I needed it to be. Unarchiver is just one of those simple ‘must have’ tools.

This is a great utility but the App Store version nags for permission every time you unarchive a file. You’re better served to use the (also free but not sandboxed) version on The Unarchiver web site.

This app writes large pageouts on my iMac running OS 10.11.4 (and previous versions) with 32GB RAM. That is just ridiculous! Please fix this. Why does this app need so much memory to unarchive files of 1GB?

The tool which comes with OS X often does the wrong thing, etc. The Unarchiver always works. Not much more to say: 8MB on your drive, well worth it!
