I rarely use any software that didn’t come with macOS if I don’t have to. But, in this case, an old ZIP file was deemed corrupted by the Archive Utility and would not unzip. I even triend PKZIP for Windows (an old friend that will “Fix” corrupt ZIP files). It was unable to save my files inside this zip file. I got Unarchiver and it did the job. All of the compressed files in my ZIP file were unzipped and are working just fine.

That impressed me right there. PKZIP is a stalwart of the Windows ecosystem. I used it for years in my professional jobs and never did it fail me like it did today. I thought all hope was lost and then I used your application and it did the job. Excellent application. I don’t need or want Stuffit Expander or need to use the Archive Utility now that Unarchiver is on my machine. Two Thumbs Up!
