This app can literally unzip anything. Even a baked potato. 11/10
Thanks for the update!
A barebones app that does what it promises. Solves the .cpgz problem for me.
Honestly The Best archive manager. I dont need to download winrar, 7zip, or any other silly unzipping program. I wish this existed for windows.
Solved an issue I had with Zipeg, mentioning an error of “unsupported compression method.” Installed this and had no problems whatsoever! Good job!
Only used it once to open a Z7 file. Free and it works. Don’t know what the bad reviewers are talking about, pretty simple app.
App forces you to make it the default for it’s type before allowing you to use it and then provides inaccurate instructions on executing this. Do not download this, it is a complete waste of memory.
I just grabbed this because a colleague sent me a .RAR file. It works GREAT! Very easy to figure out and use if you know anything about using the Mac.
Unarchiver works very easy and user friendly. Just drop a few files on the app icon and it begins its job. I love it!
Small,fast,free. Love it!
Here you don’t need a manual. Unarchiver is designed very intuitive and very easy to use. If it is defined as your default extractor, you can double-click the files to start extracting your zip, rar and … So far i know, Unarchiver can extract all formats.
works great whithout any issue. Opens all formats on the mac and it is easy-to-use. What do you wanna more? Nothing, just Unarchiver!
Unarchiver opens all formats that i tried to open. Also old compressor formats are supported.
IMO, Unarchiver is the best extractor ever. It opens all formats and does its job very fast. You can also exclude some formats that you want to open them with other apps.
Reliable application, opens .rar files great. Great interface.
Sure, Apple’s app can do it too but it supports limited file types. Here, you have support for a bunch of file types. It is not good, not great, it is excellent.
Exactly what the title says. Unarchives the most file types as far as I know. Never had a problem.
After exhausting the internet for solutions and using terminal code to no avail, I read a comment that suggested to try using The Unarchiver when experiencing “Error 2 - No such file or directory” prompts. I got no where using the terminal code and trying to rebuild the zip file to salvage what was readable. After installing "The Unarchiver” and running the zip through there, the program prompted me that the data was corrupt on the zip file but still extracted what wasn’t. AMAZING! I now have all my files back without having to wait another day for the files to be redelivered to me.
I can not open one of my backup files made with winrar about 45 gb in size. some files gives error. but when I extract with winrar in windows it extracts all without a problem.
